Hi, I'm Kaitlyn Chen,
an experience and product designer that loves to experiment.
Kaitlyn offers product conceptualization and packaging design services that center on the unboxing experience, creating meaningful interactions between products, consumers, and brands. She approaches packaging not simply as a protective layer, but as an extension of the product itself—an opportunity to communicate identity, function, and value before the product is even used.
Through thoughtful structure, material exploration, and tactile details, she designs packaging systems that guide users through a deliberate and engaging sequence. Each decision—from form and opening mechanism to graphic hierarchy and material choice—is considered as part of a cohesive experience.
Her work aims to transform unboxing into a moment of connection: where brand narrative becomes tangible, product purpose becomes clear, and users feel invited into a relationship rather than just a transaction.
